Regarding the Clinical Establishment Act, meeting was arranged with CDHO Dr Anil B Patel at Surat Jilla Panchayat Bhavan on 18th February at 4:30 PM.
IMA Surat President Dr Mukur Petrolwala, In-charge Secretary Dr Haresh Bhavsar, Dr Parul Vadgama, Dr Navin Patel, Dr Paresh Munshi and other members of the association discussed about various difficulties regarding the provisional and permanent registration of clinical establishment act and requested to simplify the process of Clinical Establishment Act registration.
CDHO acknowledged the delay in permanent registration but assured that the pending cases will be soon taken up as doctors from Government medical colleges will be entrusted the responsibility.
We explained the problem of insurance companies without registration. He assured us that they will send a directive to all insurance companies to allow all hospitals whose permanent registration shows pending on the website.
He also informed us to renew provisional or apply for permanent in time otherwise late fees will be charged.
For those with only consulting practice, self declaration will suffice for BMW.
