Indian medical Association Surat and other prominent medical associations jointly organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program titled "ANTIBIOTIC RESISTANCE – A BATTLE TO CONQUER" on Sunday 20th September at Dream Festiva, Gaurav Path Road, Pal, Surat. The conference brought together key medical stakeholders to address the growing public health challenge of antimicrobial resistance. More than 200 doctors of Surat city participated in the CME.

The event featured Mr. Praful Pansheriya, Hon'ble Minister of State for Health, Family Welfare & Medical Education, Government of Gujarat, as the Chief Guest. The conference was convened by Dr. Parul Vadgama (CWC Member IMA Hq, New Delhi) and Dr. Vinod Shah (Member IMA AMR Comm., IMA Hq, New Delhi) IMA SURAT President Dr Mukur Petrolwala welcome the members. Dr. Haresh Bhavsar and Dr. Sonal Chavda served as Masters of Ceremony.
